Student Stephanie McMichael has been confirmed as the first person to be voted out of the Big Brother house this year after losing the public vote.
Stephanie was up for eviction after failing her task of persuading the other housemates that she was genuinely getting married to fellow contestant Mario Marconi.
Mario was also up for the vote for the same reason and they were joined by Lisa Appleton and Luke Marsden.
She left the house to a mixed reaction, with boos and cheers both clearly audible.
In her live interview after being evicted, Stephanie told Big Brother host Davina McCall that she did not expect to be the first person voted out and she was "gutted" with the result of the poll.
"I don't think a week is enough to show what you're all about," the 19-year-old Liverpudlian told Davina.
